Toussaint trip, parts 2 and 3: Toulouse and Bordeaux

I figure I should share the photos from the rest of my Toussaint trip before I leave for Paris on Thursday!  I hope you enjoy seeing Toulouse and Bordeaux...

The first thing we did in Toulouse (after we finally found our hotel, rested a bit from the hike, and bought some fruit) was to go to this park where we relaxed a bit more and enjoyed the pretty day while eating our clementines.

Our relaxation didn't last long, though.  A scary dragon attacked us!

Our plans for day 2 in Toulouse were changed when the museum we wanted to visited was on strike...

The Musee des Augustins was only on strike for one day, so Friday I was able to enter and pose with the gargoyles.

The Pont Neuf (though the name means "new bridge" it's actually quite old).  The smaller holes in the bridge are to allow water to pass when the Garonne rises so that the bridge doesn't get swept away.

Welcome to Bordeaux!  A turtle statue in the Place de la Victoire.

Happy Halloween!  Lilly holds up the peach gummies--probably the worst food choice we made on our trip.  Those things are addictive, and that bag didn't even last the whole day.  Still, you have to celebrate Halloween in some manner.
